
Product roadmaps
The new corporate template was the starting point for other templates throughout the organization (ex; events, product roadmaps, etc.).




A variety of placeholder formats for screenshots help users display their screenshots in a uniform fashion. Colors keep the sections distinct, while shapes and text maintain consistency. All of the elements came together to create a template that—when used correctly—unified products and features under one unique, colorful brand.

The original roadmap lacked consistent language, color coding, screenshot formatting, and did not match the brand guidelines.
The new roadmap template slides provide language guidance. Formal color coding indicates topics instead of release timelines, as the slides were always presented by topic and never release date. Screenshot placeholders make formatting easy and encourage users to match the new 3D brand look and feel.
We reframed our thinking about how we talk about athenahealth products. The first slide explains this to new users and gives directions for reformatting their slides.
